Let's Tackle Some Hard Things
Today!
As we start a new week before America's favorite patriotic holiday - let's crack our knuckles, get our heads in the game, put on our big boy or girl pants, and take on the hard stuff of being Americans this week.
If you've read our mission statement - Everyday Idealist's goals are to not get expressly political and we still will maintain that - but some things do affect us all - as does how we get healthcare.
Whether you liked Obamacare or not, the fact of the matter is that the newest version of the healthcare bill in the Senate will take healthcare away from many of us. The poor, the elderly, children with cancer or other expensive diseases, and the disabled will be most strongly affected.
If you or a loved one were lucky enough to not know how terrible our healthcare system was before Obamacare then you are truly blessed.
I feel confident today making this our action because every major medical group and AARP has come out against this newest version. I trust these groups with my healthcare.
